Special Features

Rare 3.54 Carat Cushion Tsavorite

Whilst Tsavorite is found in both Kenya and Tanzania, the very finest Tsavorites are still found in the original deposits based in the Tsavo district of Kenya. Their colors are a purer, unadulterated green hue whilst their Tanzanian counterparts tend to have a strong yellow modifier.

Extremely rare. A collector's piece in no uncertain terms. This truly wonderful 3.54 Cushion is a superb Tsavorite by any standards. Considering that even a 2 carat piece of this caliber is rare, this piece is an extremely rare find. It is actually one of the first crystals to be found in a pocket in a new mine in the Tsavo area. It's color is superb, balancing brightness and a "columbian emerald green" effortlessly. Very high clarity, plenty of sparkle. This is an absolutely superb Tsavorite.
