Please note that these are not all the Tsavorites we have, and if you don't find what you are looking for use the "Special Request" feature to put in a special request and have us use our large network of sources to find/cut you a Tsavorite to match your specifications Lapigems Gem Company specialises in the finest quality Tsavorite and we are extremely particular in this regard. We are based at the source and we have some of the best cutters in the industry. Tsavorite PricesMany sites offering Tsavorite today subscribe to the "Volume" approach and offer large quantities of lower grade stones at very low prices. Don't be fooled by this. Lower and medium grade Tsavorite are considerably lower in value than the top grade which we specialise in. If you are looking for a very high quality Tsavorite then our Private Collection is the perfect place to look. Tsavorite RarityAlthough Tsavorite is not considered by many to be on the verge of extinction as is commonly believed of the Tanzanite, it is and always has been, an exceptionally rare gemstone. Only a small amount of fine Tsavorite crystals are found each year and many of these are small. Good sized 1-2 carat fine stones are difficult to get and the 2+ carat fine Tsavorites are very rare indeed. This is definitely a precious stone of the caliber of which heirlooms are made. Tsavorite - An ancient gemstone indeed...Tsavorite is a relatively new gemstone in terms of market exposure but in terms of geological history it is extremely old. The rocks in which it formed were first laid down over 2 billion years ago. The mighty snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, was itself only in its infancy when Tsavorite was already old. What could be more romantic than a superb, flashing green gemstone that was in existence long before the dinosaurs trod the earth? Based at the only source of Tsavorite and with a 30 year history exporting worldwide,( See our History Timeline) you can shop with us with full confidence. We support every sale with our hard earned reputation and will stand by our quality. That is why we give you 10 days to examine any Tsavorite you buy from us with full right of return if it is not to your full satisfaction. See our Global Return Policy on our Customer Service Page |
