Special Features

Beautiful Baringo Ruby 1.85 carat Emerald Cut

Ruby from the Baringo area of Kenya is beautiful and displays a pinkish modifier. The deposit is alluvial meaning that the Rubies initially formed hundreds of miles away in the mists of time, and were transported by ancient rivers and deposited in their present resting place. They are dug up by the local tribe as little smooth water worn pebbles.

A gorgeous pinkish Red Ruby from the Baringo deposit in Kenya. This deposit is alluvial and produces lovely water-worn "pebbles" of stunning Ruby. This wonderful piece boasts a beguiling deep red tinged with pink - the hallmark color of this deposit. It is completely natural, having undergone no treatment which is rare in today's Ruby market where most stones have undergone some type of enhancement. A rare and beautiful gemstones.
